Abstract

Everyday girls in rural areas face major problems such as gender discrimination, household chores, unsafe environment, poverty, early marriage and lack of toilet facilities. There are some problems that affects schedule tribe girls’ education badly and make their life pathetic. We must understand that we cannot make an inclusive society without educating girls. We should educate our tribals society so that people who live in tribals areas can easily understand the value of education. The local administration and the schools should arrange clean and separate all the facilities to the schedule tribe girls students so that they feel comfortable in the schools. The investigator has to prepare two Interview schedule for this study. One for head of the institution and one for the schedule tribe girl students. Through interview schedule the investigator tries know the problems of the girls students studying in the government schools in the rural areas.  The sample of my study was 300 tribals girl students studying in the higher secondary school in the government schools in rural areas.

Impact Statement

The aim of my study is knowing the problems faced by the tribals girls’ students in the rural government schools. But every girl in the rural areas face major problems such as gender discrimination, household chores, unsafe environment, poverty, early marriage, lack of toilet facilities. We must understand without education the problems cannot be removed. We should educate the tribals girls, so that the people live in the tribal society, they can understand the value of education. In this paper the investigator has prepared two interview schedules for my study. Through this paper the investigator tries to aware the tribals society people. They should not engage their daughter in the households at the cost of their study. They should motivate the children to go to school for the quality education. They should also be aware about the various schemes and initiatives taken by the government for providing proper education to such girls. sss

Dr. Aman has a vast experience of teaching and administration in teacher education institutes as teacher educator as well as Principal for last 15 years and is presently working in the Department of Educational Studies, Central University of Jammu, Jammu (J&K). He is also the Coordinator of ‘Centre for Assessment & Evaluation’ established in the Department under Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya National Mission on Teachers & Teaching’ (PMMMNMTT). He is having Doctorate in Education from Himachal Pradesh University along with Post graduate in Education, Mathematics and Sociology and many other academic credentials during his period of service. He is also involved in the research work in the field of educational psychology and tribal education and has written various research papers and articles in the relevant fields in the reputed journals at national/international level. He has guided one Ph.D., one M.Phil. and more than hundred M.Ed. students for their dissertation work. Dr. Aman has also attended and organized various conferences, seminars and workshops at international and national level and presented the papers related to the issues of the discipline of education. He has authored one book on Tribal Education. He is also associated with various international and national organizations /bodies as the life member in the executive boards and member of Editorial Board in two other journals at national and international level.
